Dyambu
20”30 rustic paper print of an African Wild Dog
5:30 am and one rhino sighting down we came upon 2 male wild dogs on an impala kill. They circled our truck and sang their unique high pitch tunes. The hope for this male African wild dog is that he will bond with a female and “den up” in the reserve. African wild dogs range far and wide, most often leaving the fenced reserves and finding themselves in trouble with local farmers. I affectionately named this young male “Dyambu” meaning sun and his accomplice “N’weti” meaning moon.
